XDS510 USB Plus emulator not working in CCSv5+ versions but works in CCS3.3

Hi.

I have XDS510 USB plus Spectrum Digital make, it is working fine with CCSv3.3 but when try to connect AM335x or any target on CCSv5+ versions it is not working.

It shows as below.

I tried to uninstal and reinstall the drivers but nothing worked out.

Please guide me on this.

Dear Vageesh,

Do you've licensed CCS v5? This is what SD website says:

Also, I guess you might be having CCS v3.3 full version and hence its working.

Please the describe the exact error you see when trying to use your emulator with CCSv5.

Hi,

Thanks for your support, it is working. i had two CCSv5 with 5.4 and 5.3 both showing licensed but its working only with 5.4 version CCS.

Hi,

I am glad everything is working for you, but just one detail I couldn't help but notice in the screenshot you sent: the error message references a XDS100v2 instead of a XDS510Plus JTAG debug probe.

Just keep in mind this may be the factor one version is working and another is not (perhaps the default target connection configuration is different between the two).
