How do I determine which CCSv3.3 Service Release I have installed?

Guru**** 161735 points

Determining which service release you have installed in CCSv3.3 is a bit tricky.

The recommended way to do it is to go to menu in CCS and select Help -> About.

Note the CCS version #.

Then compare this with the version # listed on the service release download page:

https://www-a.ti.com/downloads/sds_support/CCSv3.3ServiceReleases.htm

For example SR12.1 is 3.3.82.13.

Some older Chip support packages messed up the CCS version # displayed in the about dialog.  If this is the case for you the chances are that you have a pretty old service release and should consider installing a newer one (which will also fix the version #).
