There is an issue with the .desktop file for Linux in /usr/share/applications/.
The Exec parameter is /home/USERNAME/ti/ccsv6/eclipse/>/home/USERNAME/ti/ccsv6/eclipse/ccstudio. It should just be /home/USERNAME/ti/ccsv6/eclipse/ccstudio.
The icon parameter should be something like /home/USERNAME/ti/ccsv6/doc/eclipse-css-2.ico
I am not sure where to report bugs so if some one would like to report this it would help with the Linux desktop version I believe.
