CCS 6.0.1 install error Win 7 64bit

Hello,

I have some problems, to install CCS6.0.1.00040 on my Computer (Windows 7 64bit SP1). The installation fails with an error.

Antivirus (Avast) is disabled. The Hash-Code of the offline-instaler is correct. (The online-installer fails too).

I have attached the installation logs: 3566.install_logs.zip

I hope someone can help me.

    Hi Bjorn,

    It looks like one of the components is unable to install drivers due to insufficient permissions. Please delete the contents of c:\ti\ccsv6 and try the installer again as administrator.

    Hi Danish,

    thank you for your fast reply. I tried to install as admin, but no success. The install fails again, here are the new logs:

    Hi Björn, 

    the installation seems to fail during the USB driver installation.Can you please download the MSP430 FET Drivers package from this URL:

    http://software-dl.ti.com/msp430/msp430_public_sw/mcu/msp430/MSP430_FET_Drivers/latest/index_FDS.html

    And, if the installation of this package succeeds, retry the installation?

    the installation of the Fet Drivers finished, but I think there are some errors in the Logs "unknown signal...":

    Hi Björn,

    I tried to reproduce the error, but did not manage to see the error on one of our Windows test machines.

    Can you please try to execute this command line in an Administrator console (the driver package still has to be installed):

    C:\ti\fetdrivers\emulation\drivers\msp430\DPInst\DPinst64.exe  /q /se /sa /path "C:\ti\fetdrivers\emulation\drivers\msp430\USB_eZ-RF"

    After the line is executed, please enter this command and post it here:

    echo %ERRORLEVEL%

    for further error messages, can you please also try to execute the above line without the "/q" flag:

    C:\ti\fetdrivers\emulation\drivers\msp430\DPInst\DPinst64.exe  /se /sa /path "C:\ti\fetdrivers\emulation\drivers\msp430\USB_eZ-RF"

    Hello Bob,


    thank you for your help. I tried to execute the command above, but the installer interrupted with an error. So I think, my System is faulty... I installed a new Win7 on another hard disk. The installation of CCS finished an everything works fine..
