Hello,

There are three keystone DSPs and one emulator port on my board.

EMU[0:18] signals are connected in parallel and JTAG signals are connected as daisy-chain.

Each DSP has its own boot loader, NAND flash and source code.

I am using CCSv6.

My questions are:

1> How can I configure Target configuration?

2> How can CCS recognize DSPs?

3> After developing code on one board, how can I apply those three source codes to other same board? DSPs on same position on board should have same source code.

You will need to create a custom configuration. Something like what is described in this link. Which devices are daisy chained?

Once a correct target configuration ccxml file is created, you can use it to start a debug session and CCS will be able to recognize and see all the devices on the scan chain.

It would be the same as a standard multi-core debug session. They can all share the same project and load the same code. I would take a look at the multi-core debugging training material:

Hello Ki-Soo,

Three Keystone I DSP(tms320c6671)s are connected to one emulator as daisy-chain.

Today I tried to setup target configuration for my board, but I couldn't.

The emulator is XDS560v2 STMv U&E by Spectrum Digital. The error message is about communication with emulator. This is the first time for me to use xds560v2 by spectrum digital.

Error initializing emulator:
(Error -2083 @ 0x0)
Unable to communicate with the emulator. Confirm emulator configuration and connections, reset the emulator, and retry the operation.
(Emulation package 5.1.507.0)

Which one are you using? LAN, USB or Traveler?

I think that the driver for xds560v2 is not proper. Can you check the drive embedded in ccsv6 operates well on windows 8.1?

Yes. The file is called 4213.3_C6671_SD560v2USB.ccxml

Hi Ki-Soo,

I saw your configuration. Why is there two subpaths on every c6671?

As far as I know subpath means core and c6671 has one core.

you are right! It looks like a bug with the 6671 device file. It should just have one core instead of two. You can try removing the second subpath for each device if upi have not done so already.

Hello Ki-Soo,

I cannot remove second subpath. Even I select second subpath, the 'Delete' button is deactivated, so I can't delete it.
