How to update license file for ccs6

Hello,

I upgraded ccs to version6 and have been still using old license file.

There was no problem when I was using on-board xds560v2 on c6678 evm.

Today I changed xds560v2 to spectrum digital's, then I saw below error message when trying to connect to core.

Please let me know how I can update license file.

You need a Full License for external SD XDS560v2. For onboard emulators on EVMs you can use the Free License and hence you're getting this error. Please purchase the Full License to use external XDS560v2.

  • If you have a full CCSv5 license you can upgrade it to CCSv6 if your subscription is up to date.  Go to www.ti.com/myregisteredsoftware  There will be a table that lists your licenses and subscriptions for those licenses.  If your subscription is up to date then you can click on the manage button beside your license and select upgrade to generate a CCSv6 license.  If your subscription is expired you can purchase a subscription renewal and then upgrade.
