CCS6 Emulator Erroir conecting to target F28069

I'm suddenly seeing an issue with CCS6 in connecting to my F28069 device. The project had set for 3 months waiting, and I moved from CCS5 to CCS6.. now I get:

Error connecting to the target:
(Error -1135 @ 0x0)
The emulator reported an error. Confirm emulator configuration and connections, reset the emulator, and retry the operation.
(Emulation package 5.1.507.0)

..every time I try to connect to the board. Same hardweare all around, but new CCS.

Is there any chance that the emulator hardware went flat?

Als, I wanted to hook up my MSP430-FET to try it out but CCS doesn't show it as an option for this project. Is there any way to convince CCS6 to let me change emulators?

Oh, now I get this error every so many bad attempts:

Error connecting to the target:
(Error -1015 @ 0x0)
Device is not responding to the request.  Device may be locked, or the emulator connection may be unreliable. Unlock the device if possible (e.g. use wait in reset mode, and power-cycle the board). If error persists, confirm configuration and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK).
(Emulation package 5.1.232.0)

Can someone tell me where I can order a replacement? I'm pretty sure this thing is toast. Just needs to work with CCS6 and my C2000-class MCU.

Hi Ed,

What emulator are you using? Can you try testing your JTAG connection and post the results here?

FYI - the MSP430-FET only supports MSP430 devices.

We're using an XDS100V2.. and it turns out that it's being stone cold dead was the issue.

We found another one in the back of a drawer, plugged it in and now everything is fine. Nothing like a dead debugger to make life interesting.
