I tried to duplicate a project so that I can use it as the starting point for the new one when the change is minimum.
I read the forum and seems many had trouble...
I tried the following and none worked
1) In the Project Explorer pane, right click on the project and copy/paste to a new one
2) Export an existing project via File:General:archive, then import via File:General:Import (the import will not start until I created a new project folder).
The project looked OK until when I try to build them, missing .h files here and there, and a closer look revealed the project configuration was not copied to the new one.
So, what is the best/quickest way to duplicate a project for such purpose?
Thanks!

I have done this at example programs for Tiva Connected Launchpad and CC3200 Launchpad. The new copy at project explorer build without errors.
What CCS Version are you using?

Follow up:
I tried to copy/paste an example project from TI, and it works!
Since the one that failed was from a third party, I take back my complain and mark this question solved
Thanks
