Ignore my post, yesterday it was too late, today it was too early...

Problem found, I tricked myself. My post-build step did copy the lib to a destination where it was found in the next build step. So the new lib was added to the old lib.

Messed around with CCS4.

This effect can also be seen if the post-build script is blank and a stale .lib archive exists in the <PROJECT_ROOT>/lib folder. The stale file will be found and incorporated in the newly built .lib archive. All copies of the .lib archive must be cleaned from the project directory.
