tiobj2bin missing in CCS6

Hi,


I reinstalled CCS6 for Linux and now are no longer able to build my projects because tiobj2bin is missing. /opt/ti/ccsv6/utils does not contain it. Then I found a package cg_xml where TIs website stated it contains tiiobj2bin but that's not true, after installing it it is still not available, also this package did not contain it.


So how can I get back this tool?

    Hi,

    It should come with CCS (I see it in my CCSV6 Linux installation). However it might be tied to a particular family install. Did you install the ARM components?

    Hi,

    I just replied to someone else with the same issue; which devices did you install?

    This bug was present in some releases of CCSv5, and it seems to have returned.

    In the meantime, please check attached a tar.gz. file that contains both the tiobj2bin and mkhex4bin (disclaimer: this file is distributed under the same licensing terms agreed upon the CCSv6 installation).

    OK, I found the old thread - and the solution is still the same, one have to install the Stellaris-components to get these data.

    I installed Sitara-Package only which resulted in this incomplete installation.
