How accurate is Profile Clock tool?

Hi,

How accurate is Profile Clock tool in CCS? If no, do you have any suggestion? I'm going to use the obtained numbers in a scientific report. I'm using XDS100v2 emulator and LCDK6748 evaluation board. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
