I received fanally the MATLAB 2010a

But i still have problem tio interface it with CCS 4

Georgios,

The Mathworks does not support integration with CCSv4 at this time.

Which CCS license do you have today. I may be able to provide you with a link to an equivalent 3.3 license.

we are using Matlab 2007b which working fine with the 120 day eval-CCS 3.3 (with Target for TI C2000).

Unfortunatly CCS 3.3 is not supported. Is there any possibility to use a newer version (CCS4.1) together with Matlab 2007b?

We would purchase a newer version in case of compatibility with Matlab 2007b.

We are using the Target in a students project at Kiel University of Applied Science. So the license would be used for educational purposes.

I would be very thankful if you could give us a way out of this dilemma.

If you need Simulink integration if you contact the MathWorks they have a make file generation system that will allow you to generate code and then build/load/debug in CCS. For Matlab integration it is looking likely that they will skip v4 and integrate with v5 (which is already in beta) so that they don't have to do the work over again. If you are interested send me a private note and I can pass on your email to the mathworks team as I am sure they will need some early users.

Hello John,

i got Matlab 2010 and CCS v4.

is there a change to it with Embedded IDE Link in Matlab, or have i use CCS v3.3 or CCS version 5?

For Matlab integration it will be 3.3 or 5, they are going to skip 4.

Moving to 5 the integration will also be different. Currently the Matlab link uses RTDX channels to stream information from the target. With the v5 integration they will be making use of real-time JTAG emulation which doesn't require instrumentation (this is what real-time mode in CCS uses).

CCS 5.1 has been released. What about Matlab integration? Is it possible to use Embedded IDE Link now?

Andrea - Sorry, but full integration with the CCS debugger is not yet complete (As with CCSv4, some build integration iand automation via DSS is available however)

Hello,

I am trying to interface Matlab 2010 with CCS3.3 version for code generation. As of now, I am not able to interface them together, as there is some compatibility issues arising. Anyone please provide me with some links. Thanks a lot for your time.
