where can I find the C2000 cgtools 6.2.4 update?
My CCS Version: 6.0.1.00040 does not recognize it - the latest update is 6.2.9.
Under "Available Software sites", Code Generation Tools Updates is present (http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_ccstudio/codegen/Updates/p2win32/).
What can be wrong?

By default the update tool only shows the latest version of a particular feature. In this case the 6.2.x compiler is a feature and 6.2.9 is the latest version.
Go to Help -> Install new software. Select the Code Generation Tools update site. Then uncheck the box at the bottom that says to show only the latest version.
