Open a PDOM and DAT file

I exported a project to a zip and it saved it as the following two files:

cdt-index.pdom

checksums.dat

This is the only reference I have to this project right now, and I am trying to figure out how to recover the project from these.

If anyone has any guidance as to how I could go about doing this I would be extremely grateful!!!

What steps did you do to export the project? And with what version of CCS?

Thanks for the reply!

I am using version 6 and to be honest I am not entirely sure (I exported it over a month ago). I know I went to 'Export', but I cannot say for certain what I did after that.

This is the proper way:

-right-click on the project and select 'Export' in the context menu. Then select:

Then you can follow the rest of the steps to select what files to zip and where to put it.

This should generate a valid project archive. The files you mentioned in your zip doesn't look like a project zip... at least one that I am familiar with.

Yes, unfortunately I do not have the project any more. I am trying to see if there is a way to recover it from these two files.

Looks like the pdom file is related to indexer. It is likely the index cache of the project.

The checksums.dat i assume is a checksum of some sort.

Unfortunately those two files will not have any project information. The three essential files are .project, .cproject, .ccsproject. They have most of your project information.
