Unable to update compiler to version 4.4.1

HI,

I have updated my msp430 compiler in CCS but its still showing 4.3.5 version only. When i click on check for updates it says "no updates were found". What could be the reason??

i have copied 4.4.1 compiler folder from some other pc and pasted in my system. It worked:)

If you have compiler version 4.3.5 and say "Check for Updates" it will only find updated versions of 4.3.x. To get 4.4.1, you would need to go to Help->Install New Software.
The reason for this is explained in this wiki page: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Compiler_Updates

thank u. Inside "Install New Software" dialogue box it is asking some link for msp430 compiler. So how can i get that???

When you are in "Install new Software", select the Code Generation Tools Updates site as the site to work with, and then you should see the different versions of compiler tools available for update.
