Binding key presses to widgets?

Is it possible to associate a key press on the keyboard to a press on a button widget? For example, if I press and hold "A" on my keyboard, it would have the same effect as if I clicked and held a button on the GUI.

    As far as I know, this feature is not available in current version of GUI composer. But this is great input and I'm forwarding the same to the respective team.
