Data/write breakpoint on RF1AIN on CC430F5137 not hit

Hello folks,

I'm trying to set a data/write breakpoint on RF1AIN on the CC430F5137 but it never gets hit even though I see the value in RF1AIN changing constantly. I'm following the tutorial at http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slaa393c/slaa393c.pdf  and it works fine for read calls on RF1AIN, write calls on another random register like P1OUT but it never gets hit on a write or data breakpoint.

Is there some reason why write breakpoints don't work on the RF1AIN?
