How to use the structure "_complex" defined in "math.h"?

Hello, everyone, I need your help!

Others say that the header file "math.h" has defined the type "complex" to facilitate the calculation of complex numbers. And there are also some common constant numbers such as "pi". So I wanna have a try. But it fails.

Hi Tony,

I dont think our codegen tools support the complex type. I believe that is part of the C99 standard and I think we are C89.....Im not 100% sure but i think our tools folks can confirm.

I also did a search on the include files for the latest 6.4.1 compiler and did not find a definition for complex anywhere.

I will move this post over to the compiler fourm and they can confirm whether complex, as a data type, is supported.

The C28x compiler does not yet support complex math. When it does, you'll include <complex.h> and use "double complex" as a type, as indicated in the C99 standard.

Thanks a lot! I examined the <math.h> used by C28x. There really includes no complex type. What do you mean by C99 standard? Is the C99 standard published by TI or other institutions?
