Getting TMS3206713 DSK to work with Win 7, Driver issues

I've been trying to get the TMS3206713 DSK to work with windows 7 and have been unable to get a driver to work with the board on my computer.

Background info:

OS: Win 7 64-bit service pack 1

CCSv5.2.1

Board: TMS3206713 DSK

My teacher and I both have been working on getting the board to work and have had problems getting a driver to work with the board. He did manage to get it to work eventually with CCSv5.2.1, which is why I have been trying it as well. We've been trying many different combinations and settings with it, which makes it hard to remember exactly what steps led to its success.

I did refer to a previous forum thread:    and was confused about the response " When creating a target configuration you select the "Spectrum Digital DSK-EVM-eZdsp onboard USB Emulator" as the connection and then DSK6713 for the device/board." I selected the spectrum digital drivers and emulators during the install but the board never works.

I have also tried CCS versions 5.5.0 and 6.0.1 and neither seemed to install a recognizable version of the driver. I tried manually pointed the driver update from the devices and printers section in the control panel to various folders that were installed with CCS that I thought might contain the driver, but my computer never found a working driver.

I'm sure there's something I'm missing. Is there a certain location the driver is stored in? I see the configuration utilities that are installed with CCS but I'm not sure how they would help based on what I see in them.
