MSP430G2553 Examples will not load in CCS.

Howdy Everybody,

I am trying to learn more about controlling my MSP430G2553, I tried to open some of the example files in CCS and they will not load. They all say

Error: Product-type 'com.ti.sdo.grace' is unrecognized - please install at least one product of this type before creating this project.

I had tried updating CCS, updated the MSP sections and still no luck. Where do I find these examples?

CCS is proving to kick my butt, I can get some things accomplished in Energia but I want to advance my skills to CCS.

Hi Jake,

Which CCS version are you using? I hope you're using CCS v6 with MSP430 compiler installed. I somewhat feel your CCS is not properly installed.

I found it !!! The Grace software package was not installed. Installing that and updating the remaining programs took care of it. Hopefully I will make some headway now.
