Uniflash v3.1.0 - serial connection support?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Hi,

I have one question regarding the support interface of Uniflash v.3.1.0.

According to the below wiki page, Serial interface is supported by Uniflash. But the device is only "C28x 32-bit Real-time MCUs"

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/UniFlash_FAQ#1._How_do_I_set_up_my_configuration_to_use_the_Serial_Support.3F

Is F2810 included in support list?

I tried to use the serial communication interface with F2810 on Uniflash. But I can't select the F2810 device. Is F2810 out of support for serial communication iterface?

Please advise me.

Best regards,

Michi

  • Hi Michi,

C28x Concerto is the only supported target for Serial support. Also, this has been clearly mentioned in the same link mentioned by you above.

You can try C2Prog for serial programming.

    Regards,

    Gautam

  • Gautam is correct, there is currently no Serial support for other F28x devices besides Concerto. We do plan on supporting more devices in the future but I do not have a schedule for when F281x support would be added. To be honest, it may be awhile since F281x is an older device.

    Thanks
