CCSv6 (Ubuntu 14.04) crashes after eclipse terminal plugging install

Hi Everyone,

I'm currentlly using CCSv6 in Ubuntu 14.04. Everything was going smooth until I installed the "TCF Terminals 1.2 (Luna)" plugging from the eclipse marketplace. Now when I execute CCSv6 as i always do, it will only show the splash screen for a while, but it will close even before showing the "select workspace folder" dialogue.

Any ideas on how can I repair it in order to make it work again as it was.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Claus

  • Hi Claus,
You can revert your installation to what it was before you took the update. Do this by going to 'Help -> Installation Details' and then selecting ib rge "Installation History" tab and picking a date to revert to.

Regarding the TCF plug-in, I tried installing it via the Marketplace for my CCSv6.0.1 install. When trying to install it, I got a variety of dependency conflict errors (with the existing Target Management Terminal plugin). Did you get those also and proceed with the installation anyway?

    Thanks
    ki
