I ran a code yesterday and everything worked smoothly and now I get this error:

The .out file is not in the directory.

Hello,
Sounds like the build failed. In the Problems view, I see some build errors with main.asm. Hence no .out file was generated.

Do I have to initialize an arbitrary Register value into a memory location?

I have searched online and looked through the course notes to find a way to write a Register value into a Memory location but haven't found a command besides mov.b or mov.w. However, when I try this in my code I get the error. Can you point me in the direction of how to write a register value into memory?

You need to place an ampersand in front of the memory location to select the Absolute Addressing Mode. E.g.:

LINEE    mov.w  R4,  &0x0200
         mov.w  R5,  &0x0202
         mov.w  R6,  &0x0204
         mov.w  R10, &0x0206
         mov.w  R7,  &0x0208
