New user on CCS 6, developing code for 320F28334 and 335 devices.
I have successfully installed CCS 6 on a Debian 7 machine. During installation I had selected the C2000 family:
However, I cant seem to find any of the header files for the device required for peripheral operation, e.g. DSP2833x_Device.h, DSP2833x_Adc.h DSP2833x_Gpio.h, etc.
Are these files "inherited" from Control Suite? If so, is it necessary to install Control Suite on Linux?

In addition to Gautam's reference, you can also add the projects to the TI Resource Explorer for easier navigation.
- Go to menu View --> Resource Explorer (Examples)
- Once opened, click on the button to add the path to the installation directory of controlSUITE
- Once added, the examples show nicely on the tree, and can be easily imported to the workspace.
(edit). The ControlSUITE examples have several minor issues when used in Linux - mostly upper/lowercase letters on filenames that cause compile errors. The reason is that, differently than Windows, Linux differentiates between capitalization in filenames. These can be easily fixed by adjusting the #include directives in the .h files.
