Debugger Initialization Error in CCS 6

Please take a look at this related thread. There are suggestions on how to debug this to look for missing dlls and also suggested workaround of adding certain directories to your PATH environment variable.

                             Yes the emulator is recognized in Device Manager.The Error message occurs when i try to download code to target board.I have also tried to do it using other target board and emulator but i get the same error.

                          Thank You for the attached links.I have tried all possibilities as in link attached but still am getting the same error.The error is

Unable to load ..\..\..\emulation\tpi\tpiarm_x.dll: The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.

The DLL file tpiarm_x.dll is already present the emulation directory.

Can you guide me how to use SXStrace.exe tool to overcome dll error.

In the posts I referenced there were some suggestions to add certain directories to your system PATH. Have you already tried that?

                    Yes i followed the link to modify the PATH environment variable but i get the error as shown in attachment.

                                Modified the PATH environment variable to be:
 

                                set PATH C:\ti\ccsv6\ccs_base\emulation\tpi;%PATH%

After adding this path to your PATH evnironment variable, did you start ccstudio.exe from the same command prompt?

If that does not help, try setting the path at the system level by going to your Control Panel, System settings->Environment Variables, and adding it to the PATH directly in there.

                       Yes i run the ccstudio.exe  from cmd prompt after setting the env variable.

I am using ccs 6. As per cfg i have set the env variable at system level and set it as shown below , but still i get the same error on debuging in ccs 6

set PATH C:\ti\ccsv6\ccs_base\emulation\tpi;%PATH%

                      

             

I'm out of ideas on what else to suggest but I will see if I can get some others to take a look and see if they have any other ideas.

Hi, 

I'm wondering if the Visual Studio redistributable library installations are corrupted. To check this, could you re-run these three installers to reinstall the MS libraries?

installed and modified all 3 ms libraries but no fruitful result.Will try again re installing ccs6 and Giving PATH variables.
