i gone through many post but those are for CCSv5 but i want to know about CCSv6 about option " codegen outputs algebraic assembly "

There isn't enough information here for us to provide a helpful answer. Which target processor are you using, is it C55x? What does the code that generates this error look like? What are your build options in CCS?

Hi AartiG i use MSP430G2333 MCU and i simply want to know how to write c and assembly code in same file.

when i gone through some post i have to select that checkbox as "codegen outputs algebraic assembly"

but as above option is not in ccsv6 how can i enable it?

this option is available in ccsv5 and ccsv4.

This is for C55x family and not for MSP430

Ravi probably wants to use asm (inline assembly) statements in a C source file, if so download and read: MSP430 Optimizing C/C++ Compiler.
