Debugger Errror

I am running Windows 8.1 x64 and I am using Stellaris LM4F120 Launchpad

I installed ccs v5.2 and I create the project as shown in the StellarisLaunchPadWorkbook. When I try to run the debugger I get the following error message:

Error initializing emulator: Error loading FTCJTAG.dll. Please make sure that the file exists (C:\ti\ccsv5\ccs_base\DebugServer\drivers\FTCJTAG.dll)

I checked for this file and it is there.

I recommend that you use the latest version of CCS instead.

Hi Markel,

I have tried at ccs v6 but I get an another error message. then I installed the css v5.2 because it is used in the StellarisLaunchPadWorkbook.

When you used CCSV6 what error message did you get?

When using CCS at Windows 8.x, it is recommended to run it at Windows 7 Compatibility Mode.

The Stellaris Launchpad Workbook was made years ago and is not compatible with latest release of Tivaware. If you are not familiar with what changes need to be made, you will encounter compile errors.

It is recommended to use the latest version of CCSV6. Whatever problems you get using CCSV6 and your Launchpad, post it here.

I get an error whis is CORTEX_M4_0: GEL: Encountered a problem loading file: C:\StellarisWare\boards\MyLaunchPadBoard\Lab2\ccs\Debug\Lab2.out Could not open file when I used to ccsv6

I fixed the ccs v6 error. There were two source file startup.css.c and lm4f120h5qr_startup_ccs.c. I deleted a startup.css.c then the error was fix
