CVS Server is not working using CCS 4

Hi,

One of my customers was using CVS Server (version 2.0.51d) with CCE 3 (MSP430) without problems.

Now he switched to CCS 4 and version control via CVS is not working anymore.
Is CCS 4 able to work with the CVS Server version above?
Has anybody seen similar issues when migrating from CCE 3 to CCS 4?

Is the customer using the CVS plug-in for Eclipse?

Are they running through the CVS configuration wizard?

Right click on your project. Select Team -> Share Project.

Select CVS and click next to run through the wizard.

Hi Ki-Soo,

which Plug-in has to be installed on top of CCS 4?
My understanding was that CVS is already part the Eclipse environment. At least it was with CCE 3 (for MSP430).

Can you give me a hint on this one?

For CVS no plugin is needed.
