BIN to SREC

I have post-build steps in CCS6 that do the following:

1. generate a bin file

2. binpack step 1 to add CRC and image size

3. I'd like to take step 2 and turn it into an SREC file (s37)?

If this is possible, I would be greatly appreciated in a command example that I can add/modify to my post-build steps so that I may conform to current standards.

Trying to keep it simple. TI processors in my workplace are new with my project. I prefer to avoid unnecessary complexity if possible and may push the bin file loading method, but if someone has done this, so much the better.

I'm personally not aware of, and couldn't recommend, a BIN to SREC converter, however the hex conversion utility included with the TI compiler tools can convert the output file (.out) to S-record format, in case that fits in with your needs. You can read about the hex conversion utility in the ARM Assembly Language Tools Users Guide. The executable is named armhex.exe and will be in the \bin folder of the compiler tools within your CCS installation.
