Is “refreshing window” issue solved with CCS6?

Hello,

In CCS 5.5 a workspace becomes slow over use, eventually leading to the CCS window frequently showing “refreshing window” message.

This is likely an eclipse problem. With the new 4.x eclipse in CCS 6, has this problem been solved or mitigated?

Hi Matt,

That did happen after a period of time!
Please try migrating to CCS v6. It is more stable.

New versions of course are generally better:)

Need to confirm is it actually ELIMINATED or not? As "That did happen after a period of time!", does it happen when using V6?

Yes... Matt! Last week the same happened to me with CCS v6 :)
I ignored for a while and after some days... my Project Explorer was empty ie "No project at all!"
To my relief they were still there in workspace. Had to import them back!
Also, I feel this issue struck me after a duration of around 5-6months of using CCS v6.
