frequency out of range

I got a frequency out of range error when trying to load an example onto a tiva TM4C. This was working previously and I don't know why it stopped. I reinstalled code composer but the problem persisted. When I checked the stellaris does not show up in the device manager, I have downloaded the stellaris drivers, how can I install them? in the install guide it has a window that is mean to pop up when the tiva is plugged in but no such thing has happened.

Hi Carl,

What Tiva Kit are you using? Have you tried any example program before using this kit? What was the last program you were trying to program to this Kit?

TM4C129XNCZAD. I've loaded and run a few simple examples before (timers, blinky) successfully. I think I may have been attempting to load hibernate when it broke.

Hi Carl,

Using LM Flash Programmer Erase Entire Flash of your Tiva Launchpad. After that load an example program and see if it works.

I forgot to mention I use the same board on other PC's with the same software installed and it works just fine, it's only on my computer that it doesn't work at the moment.

It sounds like the ICDI drivers are not installed at all. The device manager should give you some clues as to whether the drivers are not installed at all or just not installed properly. Please take a look at these related threads where others have resolved similar issues:
