Hello,

i have a project with 3 different kind of TI-CPU's, TM4c123gh6pm, the older LM4F120 and MSP430.

Yesterday i was happy finishing the configuration of CCS 6.x so i compiled errorfree my code. But then a window pops up and told me, that i have no licence to burn my chip. OK, i can try a 90 day licence (no, i can't because of a missing file). But this is to short to end the project.

But for what i have to pay? I paid for the chip so i can it nail to my wall? I want to programm it. Other chip manufactors offers its studios for free.

Any other solution to program different chip freom TI?

I am not happy, but thanks for your attention.

Hi Django,

For launchpads you can use the Free License. When it comes to MSP430 you can use the Code size limit license.
Other than these if you tend to use XDS100 emulator with any TI device you can use Free License.
Else, activating evaluation license is the only option.

Thanks Gautam for your answer.
But this is exactly what i expected.
I have no launchpad and no XDS100 emulator. I bought the chips and want to program it without any licence problems in my own PCB.
This is not what i expect from a manufactor.
He has to give us the possibility to programm every of his produced chips. How comfortable is an other question.

UniFlash is what you need. Completely free regardless of whatever emulator you are using. It supports all the devices you mentioned. It is designed for people who just wish to easily flash their devices.
