XDS100 not working

I am using XDS100+CCS 5.3.0 for programming my controller. It was woking fine, but suddenly it's popping a message "unable to connect to target". When i do test connection ccs poping "controller has detected target power loss" message.

Now, am able to program with XDS100v2 but not with XDS100. What could be the issue with XDS100?

Hi Ramesh,

Can you check with the faulty debugger whether any of its component is over-heating? Also, try replacing the data cable.

Thanks for reply. Nothing is overheating in that debugger, i had changed data cable and tried as well but it doesn't work.

Can you try to do a "Test Connection" for the faulty debugger? You can find the same in Target Configuration:

Yes i did it. I am getting "controller has detected target power loss" error.

Which means XDS is not getting powered up. Please check the hardware.

Hi,

As Gautam mentioned, the issue is originated from hardware. The "target power loss" indicates that your board is not powered up or has a faulty power rail.
