Currently the licensing server resides on a Server 2008 which is a virtual on a WMware ESXi host. The licensing server was serving clients flawlessly for a couple of months. At 3:00 AM this morning this changed. Clients were unable to acquire a license. After much troubleshooting/research I found the Vendor Daemon Port changed. Once we modified the clients, we were then able to obtain a license. What would cause this to change and how would I prevent it from occurring again. Nothing on this server has changed, nor has it received updates.
