Problem with gmake: *** Access is denied.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CCSTUDIO

Hello, I have been having problems with CCS getting stuck on a gmake: access is denied. error for several days now.  I have read several other forums on this issue but the answers are not really conclusive.  I disabled Kaspersky and that worked for a while.  Today I was having the same error with Kaspersky disabled but I was able to get it running by restarting CCS.  However, I now need to build two projects one for each CPU. I was able to build the first project but when I try to build the second project it is stuck on gmake: *** waiting for unfinished jobs. I cannot restart CCS because I will lose my cpu1 build.  Can someone look into how to fix this?

  • Adam,

Are you still hitting this issue? In the past when others have hit this type of issue, disabling the anti-virus was sufficient to resolve the problem. I'm not really sure what else it could be if you have already disabled the anti-virus.

  • I think the issue still exists.  At some point I was able to get the program to build without making any additional changes.  The problem is intermittent.  I have not run any programs for  a few days but I expect to see this problem in the future because I have not changed anything in the system.

  • I had this issue as well. Disabling the antivirus didn't work for me. Instead, the problem was windows firewall. To solve it, i went to "Start" and typed "Firewall". After that, clicked "Allow a program through Windows Firewall" and clicked on "ccstudio" on the new window.

    Hope it helps.

    Regards.
