There have been some posts on DM64x forum about not being able to import standard DVSDK projects build with v3.3 into 4 (http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/davinci_digital_media_processors/dm64x/int-dm64x/f/103/p/41508/146404.aspx)
At http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Migrating_to_CCSv4 there is a statement that implies it may have been a known issue in wizard at some stage
"If you have a DVSDK project that has both a .tcf (DSP/BIOS configuration) and a .cfg (RTSC configuration for drivers...) the import tool in beta 2 will not allow you to import this project. There are complications with using both forms of configuration in a project so the import tool will prevent this for now. "
I have tried the wizard in v4.1.2 and it fails to generate a project that will build. Are there plans to fix this?
As a workaround there is a generic statement about using v3.3 to generate a makefile and then wrapping it in a v4 project to allow it to build. I spent a couple of hours trying to get that to work unsuccessfully. Does anyone have instructions on how to make that process work as it may be an acceptable solution for customers?
Thanks, Iain
