CCSV4.1 Install error on Duo Core Machine

I have a customer trying to install the lincense key for CCSV4.1 on a Duo Core Machine that has Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3 installed. He is getting the following error:

Eclipse JVM Terminated. Exit code=1 c:\ccstudio_v4\ccsv4\eclipse\jre\bin\javaw.exe -Xms40m

Th customer reply with the following, part number tms320f240 part number of Duo Core: Core2 Duo E6750 Is there a possibility that there is an issue with this compiler on a Duo Core or should I just install it on a single core? I did that for the CCS 3.3 and it isworking. .....

CCSv4 does not support F24x. The only 2000 device supported by CCS is 28x.

Just verified that he is going to use CCSV4.1 with C2802x devices. Still having problems with the install of the license.

What kind of license is he trying to install? And how is he installing it? The Licensing Dialog?

I just had a follow up with the customer and had him download the latest version from the web. He is seeing the exact same problem. We need to get this resolved ASAP for him.

Hi Alan,

The attached screen shot is the standard JVM crash. The cause can be anything. We will need more information to help resolve the issue. Could you have the customer provide JVM error logs?

Also what kind of license is the customer using (MCU node-locked? 90 day eval? Free Limited License?)?
