Code Composer Studio v4 SDK query (Visual Lint)

Hi,

Where can I find the plugin (SDK) guide for Code Composer v4, and a sample plug-in?

 

We have recently demonstrated our direct port of Visual Lint  for the Eclipse envionment at the ACCU Conference in Oxford, UK - http://accu.org/index.php/conferences and http://www.riverblade.co.uk/blog.php.

Providing the interfaces for CCS v4.0 are reasonably straighforward we would also plan to make this software available to beta testers (with all the same features) in Summer 2010. It is also likely LintProject Professional will support the CCS v4.0/Eclipse workspace format (the .cdtbuild and supplementary files) extending PC-Lint. Once we're ahead on any of the above - notifications will be sent through our Twitter feeds and/or mailing list .

    Hi Beth, 

    CCS v4.x is based on a relatively old version of Eclipse and CDT. (CDT v3.1) Most of changes to project management are built on top of existing CDT framework(with few exceptions), thus if your existing plugin works with CDT3.1 APIs, then there is a very good chance that it should work in CCSv4 as well. e.g. source control systems just plugin and work in CCSv4. I think that similar API's would be required by VisualLint.

     Thanks for your reply Martin.

    Our development branch presently supports from Eclipse 3.4.0 onwards. We'll review backward compatibility in due course to decided which components should be affected.
