TMS320LF2407 Compiler

Hello community,

I need to compile a new build file using the TMS320C2x/2xx/5x compiler.

The previous build file I obtained was with TMS320C2000 Code Composer 4.12 and the C24x XDS510 Emulator that comes with it.

Is there a way for me to obtain that compiler and use it with the latest version of Code Composer Studio?

Other alternative.

Could TMS320C2000 Code Composer 4.12 OR CCS 3.3V (this version works with the TMS320LF2407 DSP board) work on a virtual machine, such as windows XP?

Legacy CCS versions can be downloaded at:
processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Download_CCS

If you need CCS 3.3, I can set up a secure file transfer using Box. Let us know how you would like to proceed.

Hi,

I am looking for a way to setup the Spectrum Digital TMS320LF2407 EVM Development board.

I downloaded the latest CCS version 6.1 but no result !

If I understands correctly I need Version 3.x witch is not available as a DVD download via link "http:\\processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Download_CCS#Code_Composer_Studio_Version_3_Downloads"

Where can I download the correct version for this Development board ?

Hello Marcel,
You will need a special CCSv3 version for F24x support. More information can be found in the below link:

Hello,

we have same problem with 2407 which is mentioned above. We have an old
product which uses 2407 and unfortunately we have to compile to 2407.
The new CCS versions do not support this dsp. We prefer CCS v2.2 but
according to TI webpage this CCS version not available any more. Could
you inform us what options we have?

Hello,
There is a special version of CCSv3.3 that supports F24x. Unfortunately it is not covered by the free license. You can purchase a license for it from the TI estore:
www.ti.com/.../CCSTUDIO3
