I am moving a project from the MSP430 version 4.1.5 compiler to version 4.2.1. Using automatic RTS selection, I get the following error:

automatic RTS selection:  could not resolve index library "libc.a"  to a compatible library

I have rebuilt the libraries using mklib and manually selected the correct one, but thenI cannot specify my own entry point. Instead I get the error:

"../lnk_msp430f5438a.cmd", line 221: error #10099-D: program will not fit into
available memory. placement with alignment fails for section ".reset" size
