Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAPL138
Hi,
I am using OMAPL138 EVM board with XDS100v2 jtag. When i want to load a program and start debugging, I have to take few minutes(about 3-5 minutes), is it typical?

Adam,
Which device are you trying to load to? The ARM? Or the 64x+? How much code are you loading? If the ARM image is significantly large, there may be a noticeable load time, but I still wouldn't expect 3-5 minutes. If we're just loading the 64x+, I wouldn't expect the load time to be more than 30 seconds - 1 minute. If you can provide the .out file, I can try loading on my L138 to compare results.

Dan
Adam,
Where can I get the package that youa re referring to? I can't seem to find it.
Thanks,
Dan
Dan,
BIOSPSP can be dowloaded here
And the sample application is in PSP_BIOS_INSTALL_DIR/packages/ti/pspiom/examples/evmOMAPL138/audio
Note that if you are using XDS100v2, if you need to work with the ARM, you should update the CPLD. Details are here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/XDS100#Q:_My_XDS100v2_does_not_work_reliabily_with_the_OMAPL138_.2F_DM365_.2F_ARM926_core
