Hi, I have a ezdsp module TMS320C5535, and CCS ver4 in cd. This version is not compatible in win 8.1. I have now CCS5.5.0.00077_win32 (offline zip). I tried installing this software (two hours and I cancelled), because there was a lot of problems; one is that I have no information what I must be selected during installation. (There is myriad questions and choises in install process and one error message). What I need is only free licence, and no additional packages, only installation that meets the minimum requirements. Or, advise how I get this program work. I have been read myriad posts. I wonder why there is no setup guide for later version that would be up to date in ezdsp.
The coding seems to be easier than getting this program to work.
Operating system is windows 8.1 64bit. Antivirus is windows defender.
