Hi,

I have installed CCSv4 on Ubuntu 9.10 and able to launch it.

However, I would like to debug OMAP4 using XDS560V2, both of which dont show up as supported.

I tried installing the updated drivers from

http://support.spectrumdigital.com/ccs40/privateUpdates/site.xml
http://dleinspect.itg.ti.com:82/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_ccstudio/CCSv4/Updates/OMAP4_CCS4_2/site.xml

but they are supported only for Windows and not for Ubuntu.

Can someone help me to setup CCSv4 for XDS560V2 for debugging OMAP4? Thanks in advance.

At this time, the CCS v4.x Linux hosted support is for simulators only.

This is indicated at http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Linux_Host_Support

- Is there any chance to get verified support for Debian based distributions like Ubuntu and not only for RedHat ? I guess Ubuntu is the most popular Linux distro for the PC desktops these days well ahead of Fedora/Redhat.

- Does "XDS560 v1/v2 support" mean that XDS510 will be supported as well in CCS v5.0.y ?

CCS on Ubuntu: Testing is being setup for ubuntu. However, there is a know issue on ubuntu 9.10 where clicking on some buttons does not do anything. e.g. clicking next on project wizard. This most likely affects other distributions that use recent GTK libs. The workaround requires to add “GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=1” environment variable.
