SOC analyzer configuration issues on DM6467

i am trying to configure the SOC analyzer for profiling analysis of a codec engine application. I have followed the steps mentioned in the SOC analyzer user guide. The graphs that I receive on the SOC analyzer after running my application as well as the "video copy" example of the Codec engine only show the DSP side loads i want to be able to see the loads of the GPP side as well. i have enabled the flag Trace_Util.attrs = Trace_Util.SOCRATES_TRACING in the "ceapp.cfg" file for my application.

i am using the following

dvsdk_1_40_02_33

codec_engine_2_10_02

dsplink-davinci-v1.50-prebuilt

the dsp link has been compiled with the trace option enabled

    upon further testing the video copy example I found that the SOC analyzer displays some errors in the error log the log is below

    Umair,

     

    Looking at the log, it appears that the Linux Trace Toolkit (LTT) trace logs were not collected.

    Can you confirm that the Linux Kernel built with "Relayfs" and "Linux Trace Toolkit Support" turned on?

    Please see the DVEVM Getting Started Guide (SPRUE66) pp. 4-14 - 4.15 for more information.
    Step 6, details how to enable the Linux Trace Toolkit for the SoC Analyzer.
