Update of ARM 5.0.4 to ARM 50.05 compiler version

Hello,

I have installed CCSv54 and the default ARM compiler is 5.0.4. But now I want to update the compiler version to 5.0.5.

Is there a procedure to follow? I tried to install through CCS->Install Software..But could not find any list of compilers.

Any help in this regard is appreciated.

Hi Vijaya,

Go to Help->Install new software

From the drop down list of Available software sites, pick Code Generation Tools. You should see the list of arm compilers available.

I was able to get the list of compilers available by changing the proxy settings.

Hi,

I am now trying to update the compiler version to ARM 5.0.5.But I dont see that version present in the CCS installer window. Is there any download site from TI from where I can directly download this version?

By default you will only see the latest version of a compiler stream. If you uncheck the appropriate box at the bottom you will be able to select the 5.0.5 compiler.
