GUI composer doesn't appear in menu of Code Composer Studio 6

I installed CCS6 and GUI composer 6

CCS6.1.0.00104_win32.zip

GUI_Composer-6.0.0.0-Setup.exe

installed in not default dir : e:\ti\...

(installation went without error, I had to use admin profile)

but CCS did not show in its menu the GUI composer

Any idea how to fix this ?

Also when trying to launch GUI as stand alone, I found the file : e:\ti\guicomposer\eclipse\GUIComposer.exe

but it starts something like : controlSuite not GUI composer

Hi Lotfi,

So you installed through standalone installer? Instead try installing the same from CCS Appcenter.

I tried but because of a slow internet connexion i can't

How can I tell him to use the off line installer

If you're planning to use the standalone installer follow these steps:

If CCS is installed at C:\ti then Gui Composer should be installed at C:\ti\guicomposer

It works

so what one has to do is:

- Install GUI composer (300 MO)

- install plugin (they should name it like that) from CCS6 Applications page
