Multiple instanced of file opened

I'm using CCS 6.1.0.

I can't find a setting in the CCS IDE to change this behavior. When editing/working on source files I inevitably end up with multiple instances of the same file open in the IDE (tabs at top). These are the same files. Changes in one file when saved are reflected in the other.

Is there a way to tell the IDE to open only one copy of a file?

Hi Ron,
There is a known issue that applies just for header files that exist outside the project folder. Is this the case for you also?

Hi Ki,

I didn't realize it when I first posted the question, but yes this happens for just header files outside the project folder.
Based on your suggestion that this was a know issue I looked through the CCS bug database.
I found the bug listed but it looks like it was rejected and won't be fixed.

Incident Report: SDSCM00051434

The problem description is a little different. My description was double clicking in the Search view, the bug description is double clicking in Problems view. Either way a second copy of a header file is opened.
