MSP430 DriverLib for MSP430i2xx Devices "Example Code" & "Users Guide"

In CCSv6.1 TI Resource Explorer, in "Libraries:Driver Library: MSP430i2xx", if I select "API Programmer's Guide", it pulls up a window with a document titled "MSP430 DriverLib for MSP430i2xx Devices 2.21.00.08". The Introduction page has the following note at the bottom:

Also note the existence of the following content available on disk. This is not part of this API but contains useful example code and documentation.

    • Example Code
      • under examples/driverlib/MSP430i2xx/{peripheral}
    • Users Guide
      • doc/driverlib/MSP430i2xx/MSP430i2xx_DriverLib_Users_Guide-2.21.00.08.pdf

What does "available on disk" mean?  What disk?  I can't find this stuff on my hard disk.

    Hi Leo,

    The term "available on disk" means the MSPware contents on the hard-drive.
    On my pc the below contents are located here:

    Example Code
    C:\tinew\msp430\MSPWare_2_21_00_39\driverlib\driverlib\MSP430i2xx
    C:\tinew\msp430\MSPWare_2_21_00_39\driverlib\examples\MSP430i2xx

    Users Guide
    C:\tinew\msp430\MSPWare_2_21_00_39\driverlib\doc\MSP430i2xx

    Thank you very much.

    As you can see, the documentation I referred to doesn't match the path names of the actual locations of the files -- for instance, the Users Guide isn't under doc/driverlib, it's under driverlib/doc.
