Unable to install CallGraph Viewer 0.9.0 (from the Eclipse Marketplace)

I have been unable to install CallGraph Viewer 0.9.0 (from the Eclipse Marketplace) into Code Composer Studio (version 6.1.0.00104). I get the error message that CallGraph requires 'org.eclipse.pde.ui.3.8.0' but it could not be found.

Any suggestions as to the cause of and solution to this error would be appreciated.

I don't have that answer for you, but CCSv6 allows you to see the call hierarchy. Please see or .

You need to be in edit view for it to work.

Hello Jeffrey,

That version of the PDE is for an old eclipse version. See and click on 3.8. Then go to the PDE section of the webpage.

I not sure if the following will work, but you could try to make a copy of your complete CCSv6.1 directory and install that version of the PDE to the eclipse directory of the copied CCSv6.1 folder.

According to

Call Graph requires System Tap (), which looks like a linux application.

When I look at the site for the CallGraph viewer from Certiv there are a number of users reporting similar errors. I don't believe the tool is functional. I am also not sure that it supports C/C++ vs just Java. Hopefully the feature that Stephen pointed out is sufficient for your needs.
