On the laptop installed the latest version windows and browser.

Thanks for reporting this. We are working on fixing this issue. In the meantime I do have a workaround for you.
1) Please download the cloud agent from here
2) Run the downloaded installer
3) Refresh TI-Rex and try the demo again
